Job summary

Integer is seeking a skilled CNC programmer and machinist to join its engineering team in Penang. You will design and implement CNC programs, set up machines, and optimize processes for precision and cost efficiency, while interpreting detailed drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of CNC experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Mastercam, and strong knowledge of G-code/M-code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years CNC programming and machining experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam.
• Understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Knowledge of materials including metals, plastics, composites.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to quality, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Design and develop CNC programs for machining parts using CAD/CAM software.
• Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) and ensure proper calibration.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Optimize machining processes for efficiency, precision and cost.
• Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds; troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect finished components and maintain documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams as needed and travel occasionally.
