Job summary

Daikin Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a System Architect to design and implement high-performance cloud systems using Golang. You will manage real-time telemetry, implement MQTT/NATS messaging, and optimize time-series data storage for energy reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in Golang with Goroutines, Linux expertise, and hands-on Kubernetes/Docker experience. You will architect multi-cloud deployments and lead CI/CD efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional Golang experience (Goroutines, Channels, Interfaces).
• Expert-level Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Proven experience with Time-Series Databases and SQL performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance cloud systems using Golang to handle concurrent telemetry streams.
• Manage real-time messaging and event-driven architectures using MQTT or NATS for low-latency communication between buildings and the cloud.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval using Time-Series Databases for historical trends and energy reporting.
• Architect and maintain scalable environments on AWS/GCP/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and ensure high uptime for critical building control functions.
