Job summary

Daikin Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a System Architect to design and implement high-performance cloud systems using Golang. You will manage real-time telemetry, implement MQTT/NATS messaging, and optimize time-series data storage for energy reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in Golang with Goroutines, Linux expertise, and hands-on Kubernetes/Docker experience. You will architect multi-cloud deployments and lead CI/CD efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional Golang experience (Goroutines, Channels, Interfaces).
• Expert-level Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Proven experience with Time-Series Databases and SQL performance tuning.

Data Orchestration: Manage real-time messaging and event-driven architectures using MQTT or NATS to ensure low-latency communication between buildings and the cloud.

Time-Series Management: Optimize data storage and retrieval using TimescaleDB (or similar) for historical trend analysis and energy reporting.

Cloud & Deployment: Architect and maintain scalable environments on AWS/GCP/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

Reliability: Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and ensure high uptime for critical building control functions.

Requirements:

Possess a recognized degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.

Language Mastery:5+ years of professional experience withGolang(Goroutines, Channels, and Interface design).

Linux & Environment:Expert-level comfort withLinuxenvironments and shell scripting.

Database Knowledge:Proven experience withTime-Series Databasesand relational SQL performance tuning.

Infrastructure:Hands-on experience withK8s,Docker, and managed cloud services.

Messaging Expertise:Deep understanding of Pub/Sub patterns and message brokers likeMQTTorNATS.

Version Control:Advanced proficiency withGit.

Execution & Autonomy:Proven ability to get things done alone.You are a self-starter who can take a high-level concept and turn it into a production-ready system with minimal supervision.
