Job summary

MIMOS is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, operate and improve secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. The role supports cloud migration, deployment, monitoring, automation and cost optimization while ensuring reliability and security.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver production-ready cloud solutions and maintain documentation and runbooks for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, database and security services.
• Support migration of on-premise workloads to cloud environments (rehost/replatform).
• Provision and configure cloud resources using IaC and automation tools.
• Implement IAM, network security, encryption, backup, monitoring, logging and access controls.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads with Dev teams.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity and troubleshoot incidents.
• Implement backup, DR, HA and runbooks for production environments.
• Optimize resource usage and costs; provide reliability and scalability recommendations.
• Prepare architecture/configuration records and runbooks.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors and clients during implementation.
