Job summary

Uniti, a Civil & Structural engineering consultancy based in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and coordinate civil and structural projects from planning through construction. You will prepare designs and calculations, review drawings, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule compliance while mentoring junior staff and liaising with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural engineering consultancy
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian design codes, Eurocodes, and relevant authority submission requirements
• Excellent technical, communication, and project management skills
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects from planning, design, and construction until project completion
• Prepare and review engineering designs, structural calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings
• Design and coordinate reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards
• Coordinate with clients, architects, M&E consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and provide technical support to ensure compliance with design requirements
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
• Ensure projects are delivered within the required quality, budget, and schedule
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Attend technical meetings and represent the company in project coordination discussions
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements, and quality management procedures
