Job summary

SNA Consult in Malaysia is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to lead design and project management for complex infrastructure projects in Selangor. You will perform advanced structural analysis using SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro, and develop drawings with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, while ensuring adherence to local codes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 6 years of progressive experience, strong geotechnical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proven expertise in structural analysis using SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering design software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Perform complex structural analysis and design using advanced software.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations and inform foundation design.
• Develop and review detailed drawings, specs, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated delivery.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Oversee site investigations, construction supervision, and QC measures.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders for progress and approvals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Stay updated on civil engineering advancements to enhance outcomes.
