Job summary

Jurutera Pertiwi (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer to lead civil and structural design for building and infrastructure projects. You will prepare and review calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications, and mentor graduates and junior engineers.

Work with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities, attending technical meetings and delivering engineering solutions during design and construction stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in civil and structural engineering consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Prota Structure or equivalent engineering software.
• Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently with leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil and structural engineering design for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review design calculations, engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to graduate and junior engineers.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Attend technical meetings and provide engineering solutions during design and construction stages.
