Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician (Chargeman A4) to maintain medium to large buildings and industrial systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and support energy management to keep systems efficient. Ideal candidates are registered Chargeman A4 with Energy Commission, 2–5 years in facilities maintenance, proficient with electrical and mechanical systems, and comfortable using MS Office for reporting.

Qualifications

• Competent Chargeman A4 & registered with Energy Commission.
• 2-5 years of job-related experience in facilities or building maintenance.
• Strong experience in electrical & mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
