Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or supply chain, preferably in electronics/hardware.
• Proven experience in global category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
• Strong negotiation abilities with cost reductions and multi-year commitments.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and financial information.
• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain software/tools.
• Strong project management to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of supplier management, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to work in a global, multi-site environment.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in AI and digital analytics tools for procurement and category management.
• Experience in MOD/SSD direct materials (PCB, passives, enclosures, hardware) valued.
• Professional certifications in supply chain management (CPSM/CIPS/CPM appreciated).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sourcing and category management plan for the category.
• Track sourcing strategy implementation and contract compliance.
• Lead a global key-materials team to achieve outstanding results.
• Chair cross-functional MST forums with engineering, supplier quality, and internal sites.
• Collaborate with business units, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and site purchasing to plan sourcing direction.
• Communicate sourcing trends and results to the Category Director.
• Negotiate LTAs/MOUs for multi-year capacity guarantees and pricing consistency.
• Drive supplier diversification and qualify new suppliers/sites.
• Recommend targets for spend reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Deliver category savings and scorecard targets.
• Manage senior-level supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain supplier segmentation map and build partnerships with key suppliers.
• Oversee category compliance including risk, spend, and quality.
• Apply AI and digital analytics to strengthen category insights and decision-making.
