Job summary

Proton in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced CAE Numerical Analyst to perform CAE calculations, develop boundary conditions, and support the Section Head in scheduling CAE work.

You will conduct multi-disciplinary CAE analyses for design validation, partake in physical validation with the testing team, and generate ISO-compliant technical reports. A Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering with 4–6 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAE numerical calculations and prepare boundary conditions for replication of engineering problems.
• Conduct multidisciplinary CAE analyses for design validation and improvement.
• Post-process CAE results and provide technical justification/evaluation.
• Plan and perform CAE correlation and model updating with testing support.
• Produce CAE technical reports for ISO documentation and NPDS fulfilment.
• Develop basic scripting/macros to improve CAE process efficiency.
• Present CAE findings in multi-platform technical meetings.
• Update CAE technical roadmap and competency development as directed by the CAE Section Head.
