Job summary

GOODNITE SDN. BHD. in Beranang, Malaysia, seeks an experienced cabinet designer to design and engineer custom cabinets using Cabinet Vision or similar software.

You will produce production drawings, BOMs, cutting lists and CNC-ready data. You will maintain Cabinet Vision libraries, ensure designs suit factory production, troubleshoot CNC-to-manufacturing issues, and coordinate with production, CNC, purchasing, project management and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Furniture Design, Woodworking, Manufacturing, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant cabinet, furniture, joinery or millwork experience.
• Strong Cabinet Vision experience preferred.
• Experience with Microvellum, Mozaik, 2020 Design, PolyBoard or similar software is also considered.
• Good knowledge of cabinet construction, sheet materials, hardware, hinges and drawer systems.
• Factory/manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Able to read architectural, interior design and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience customizing Cabinet Vision databases, catalogs and rules is a major advantage.
• CNC and post-processor knowledge is an advantage.
• Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous.
