Job summary

Aurecon is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to join their Buildings business unit. In this role, you will lead electrical design deliverables and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards. You will also mentor junior engineers and provide technical support throughout project phases.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, is registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, and has 6–10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of electrical engineering experience in consulting or similar environment.
• Experience in M&E design and coordination for commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial projects.
• Strong background in building electrical design within a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare electrical design deliverables including diagrams and layouts.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and provide technical support during project phases.
