Job summary

Arup Malaysia seeks a senior engineering leader to deliver planning and design of complex bridges, tunnels and civil structures for transportation and infrastructure projects.

You will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, review engineering calculations, and present complex solutions to clients and stakeholders. The role requires extensive experience in bridge and civil engineering and strong governance capabilities within a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Recognized tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in bridge and civil structures.
• Significant experience in medium-to-large transportation projects within a consulting business environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and complex engineering workstreams.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planning and design of complex bridges, tunnels and civil structures for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and approve engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings and technical deliverables prepared by project teams.
• Deliver technical presentations and communicate complex engineering solutions to clients, stakeholders and project teams.
