Job summary

PZK Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead and manage engineering design and consultancy works for diverse projects in Malaysia. You will prepare, review and approve calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports, and guide engineers, technical staff and drafters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering consultancy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to lead a team.
• Proficient in relevant Malaysian standards and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering design and consultancy works for various projects.
• Prepare, review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Lead the technical team and provide guidance to engineers, technical staff and drafters.
• Coordinate engineering works with clients, contractors, authorities and consultants.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary works and resolve design and technical issues.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant standards, codes and authority requirements.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections and technical discussions.
• Provide technical support during tender and construction stages.
• Monitor project progress and ensure engineering deliverables are completed within the required timeline.
• Review tender documents and provide technical input for project submissions.
