Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Principal Modeller, BIM (MEP) to lead BIM deliverables for complex projects in Malaysia. The role focuses on modeling, coordination, and management of MEP systems, with strong leadership and BIM standardization responsibilities.

You will oversee BIM workflows, mentor modellers, and ensure project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines are met across multiple platforms and teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Architectural Technology, or Building Services.
• 15+ years of experience in MEP BIM modeling, coordination, and project delivery.
• Strong BIM authoring and coordination skills across multiple platforms.
• Experience managing BIM teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and execution planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM modeling and coordination for MEP systems across projects.
• Manage BIM deliverables and ensure compliance with requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects and structural engineers for seamless MEP integration.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution to minimize design conflicts.
• Develop and maintain BIM content libraries and parametric families.
