Partech is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its Card Issuing Team in Southeast Asia. You will own a core domain within a live production platform, drive architectural decisions, and guide the technical direction for scalable, secure money-moving systems.

You will design, implement, and operate RESTful microservices in modern cloud infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, PCI DSS compliance, and collaboration across product, QA, and operations.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend engineering with high-scale/financial production systems.
• Expert-level Golang for microservices in cloud environments.
• Advanced SQL skills (MariaDB/MySQL) including transactions and migrations.
• Excellent debugging and ability to document technical trade-offs clearly.
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical design for high-availability money-moving systems and scale RESTful microservices.
• Take ownership of a core domain (e.g., authorization, settlement) balancing features with reliability.
• Partner with Product, QA, and Ops to split problems into deliverable work and mentor engineers.
• Drive integrations with card networks and payment processors.
• Pioneer AI-assisted workflows within a regulated payments environment.
