Job summary

OTT CREATION MARKETING in Balakong, Selangor is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with an automation background to identify new clients, manage existing accounts, and develop long-term relationships.

You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery, negotiate tender terms, meet sales targets, and travel as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business Admin, E&E Eng, Mechanical Eng).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in software for presentations, costing, and quotations is preferred.
• Own vehicle and willing to travel outstations when necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to take initiative.
• Willing to stay updated with market trends and technologies.
• Good problem-solving skills to support both customers and the company.
• Willing to assist colleagues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and searching for new clients in a designated region.
• Handle existing customers and learn about the manufacturing process and costing.
• Develop long-term relationships by managing and interpreting client requirements.
• Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms to meet client and company needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Follow up customer payment and stock aging.
• Coordinate with internal team to ensure project/order delivery smoothly.
• Comply with rules and regulations imposed by licensing authorities (e.g., Customs, MIDA, MPKJ).
