Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer in the Global Equipment Engineering Group to support manufacturing and new product development. You will specify, procure, install new manufacturing lines, and lead cross-functional teams across locations to drive automation projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on machine design, validation, and collaboration with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transfer of technologies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience specifying, installing, startup, and validation of automated assembly/packaging technologies.
Strong mechanical aptitude with machine design and packaging know-how.
Ability to lead cross-site and vendor collaboration on projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, specify and implement automated equipment for assembly/packaging.
IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT/SAT for new technologies and transfers to sites.
Coordinate with vendors and internal customers on line installations and improvements.
