Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Malaysia seeks a Senior MPDE Automation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced automation for cable assembly manufacturing. You will design, validate, and optimize automated systems, driving process innovation, quality, and efficiency while supporting new product introductions and DFMs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in EE/Electronics/Mechatronics with 7+ years in automation engineering.
Experience leading automation development for manufacturing lines and NPI.
Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLCs, sensors, and robotics.

Responsibilities

Lead automation development for cable assembly manufacturing per LEAN/PD principles.
Drive innovation in automation technologies including robotics, vision, sensors and motion control.
Support product development and DFM, tooling prototypes and NPI readiness.
Design and qualify tooling and automated processes meeting quality and production needs.
Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
