Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking talents to meet quality loan targets and maintain strong relationships with car dealers and customers in Penang. The role requires conducting KYC, verifying documents, and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines while coordinating with internal teams.

You will interview applicants, enter data in the LOAD$ system, perform CTOS checks, and prepare loan recommendations for approval. Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year banking experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/'O' Level or equivalent.
• Higher secondary or diploma holders encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers and dealers.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets by securing new quality loans per product portfolio decisions.
• Maintain good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure loan documents comply with guidelines for dealer/customer.
• Verify identification, income and vehicle documents; obtain customer consent.
• Interview applicants and conduct thorough KYC.
• Enter data accurately in LOAD$ system and CTOS checks.
• Provide loan recommendations and write-ups for approval.
• Update dealers daily on case status; issue LOUs and witness HP agreements.
• Explain PDS and HP agreement terms to customers; ensure execution compliance.
• Investigate delays and prepare proposals for panels; conduct site visits as needed.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned.
