Job summary

WEZMART & ASSOCIATES PLT in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our team. You will lead audit engagements, review work and support the Audit Manager to deliver high-quality services across diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of audit experience, strong knowledge of accounting standards, and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and staff while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant audit experience.
  • Experience in handling full audit cycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise, guide, and review work performed by junior audit staff.
  • Perform risk assessments, analytical reviews, and substantive testing.
  • Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports.
  • Ensure audit documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with standards.
  • Communicate audit findings, issues, and recommendations to management and clients.
  • Manage multiple audit assignments and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and resolve audit queries.
  • Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, ensure compliance with auditing standards, and support the Audit Manager in delivering high-quality audit services. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through to completion
