Job summary

SC Lim, Ng & Co PLT is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements and manage a portfolio of clients in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee audit teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and work closely with partners to meet professional standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising staff, reviewing working papers and financial statements, and ensuring compliance with MPERS and MFRS.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with MIA membership or eligible.
• Min 8 years external audit experience.
• At least 3 years in audit management.
• Strong MPERS and MFRS knowledge.
• Experience with group audits and consolidated financial statements.
• Familiar with MBRS/XBRL filing requirements.
• Leadership, staff coaching and client communication skills.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage external audit client portfolios from planning to completion.
• Lead, supervise and train audit teams for quality and timely delivery.
• Review and finalise audit working papers, financial statements and reports before partner review.
• Manage group audits and consolidate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with MPERS, MFRS and auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients on audit matters, deadlines and technical issues.
• Oversee audit schedules, team resources and engagement progress.
