Job summary

SC Lim, Ng & Co PLT is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements and manage a portfolio of clients in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee audit teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and work closely with partners to meet professional standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising staff, reviewing working papers and financial statements, and ensuring compliance with MPERS and MFRS.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with MIA membership or eligible.
• Min 8 years external audit experience.
• At least 3 years in audit management.
• Strong MPERS and MFRS knowledge.
• Experience with group audits and consolidated financial statements.
• Familiar with MBRS/XBRL filing requirements.
• Leadership, staff coaching and client communication skills.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with MPERS, MFRS and relevant auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients on audit matters, technical issues and reporting deadlines.
• Oversee audit schedules, team resources and engagement progress.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, with MIA membership or eligibility for MIA membership.
• Minimum 8 years of external audit experience, including at least 3 years in an audit management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of MPERS and MFRS.
• Proven ability to independently manage audit portfolios and finalise engagements for partner review.
• Experience handling group audits and consolidated financial statements.
• Familiarity with MBRS/XBRL filing requirements.
• Strong leadership, staff coaching and client communication skills.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
