Job summary

Pentamaster Corporation Berhad (Official) is seeking an experienced engineer to develop ATE application hardware and software architecture. You will translate customer requirements into test methodologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize test systems for better yields.

Qualifications

Bachelor or master degree in EE/CS or equivalent.
5+ years of working experience in related field.
Experience with ATE hardware, PCB and test instruments.

Responsibilities

Develop ATE application hardware, software architecture, object oriented modules and test sequences from customer requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, customers, cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
Translate customer requirements into ATE design, software architecture and test methodology.
Monitor and optimize test system to improve manufacturing yield.
Perform evaluation, prototyping, and data analysis to identify root causes and propose solutions.
Troubleshoot ATE failures and design issues with corrective action.
Supervise and guide junior engineers on projects and modules.
Manage procurement for standard parts, equipment and accessories.
Lead evaluation, research and prototyping to determine root causes and solutions.
Oversee overall projects including planning, design, development, buyoff and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
