Job summary

SS&C GlobeOp, Kuala Lumpur, invites an accounting professional with 2+ years in private equity fund accounting to join our hybrid team. You will contribute to NAV calculations, capital calls, and financial statements, ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and accurate investment booking.

You will liaise with clients and auditors, interpret LPAs, and support onboarding of funds while driving process improvements and stronger internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of private equity/private markets fund accounting or audits experience.
• Experience reviewing NAVs and financial statements with knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience interpreting partnership agreements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/Review monthly/quarterly NAV calculations.
• Prepare/Review capital call and distribution allocations.
• Perform and review waterfall calculations.
• Ensure accurate booking of investment transactions.
• Oversee partner capital account maintenance.
• Review management fee and carried interest calculations.
• Prepare/Review quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate audit processes with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for Client.
• Review and interpret Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs).
• Assist with onboarding new funds and restructurings.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices.
• Support system implementations or upgrades.
