Krypton Fund Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior fund accounting professional to administer administration agreements for hedge fund clients and ensure accurate NAV production. The role includes reviewing NAV calculations, fee structures, and maintaining relationships with internal teams; you will plan daily workflows and monitor deliverables to meet SLA requirements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 6-8 years in financial services, and proficiency in Microsoft

• 6-8 years in financial services, especially fund accounting in fund administration.
• Manage/lead 3-4 employees for 2-3 years.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Proactive, detail oriented, and able to resolve issues independently.
• Able to communicate professionally in writing and speaking.
• Organized, multi-tasking, and able to meet deadlines in a team.
• Experience with PFS-Paxus is a plus.

Mansioni

• Administer the administration agreements for a hedge fund client portfolio.
• Review and sign-off NAV calculations, including fee amortization and accruals.
• Valuation of hedge fund portfolio holdings and fee structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with Krypton internal functions.
• Plan, schedule and manage daily workflows for all client deliverables.
• Monitor deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain FTE deployment for production, overtime, and cost management.
• Escalate material issues affecting NAV production to the Senior Manager.
• Coordinate year-end audit timelines and financial rolls with the team.
• Engage and onboard new clients and support team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect to a portfolio of hedge fund clients


• Review and sign-off of Net Asset Value calculations as per service level agreement, including but not limited to fee amortization and accruals, financing accruals, management and performance fees computation


• Valuationofhedgefundportfolioholdings

• BuildingandmaintainingrelationshipsandworkingcloselywithKryptoninternalfunctions


• Planning,schedulingandmanagingthedailyworkflowsofallclientdeliverableswithintheteam

• Developing, adhering and maintaining FTE deployment to ensure adequate resources for production, overtime and cost management

• Engageandownintra-officemigrationsand/ornewclientonboarding


• Contributeandowndepartmentalinitiativeswhilesupportingteaminitiatives


• Driveforwardcontinuousimprovementandseekingefficiencieswhilemaintainingadequatecontrols


• Support operational coverage for Day and Night shifts (3am - 12pm, 6pm - 3am)
  

Qualifications

• Abachelor’sdegreeinAccountorFinanceorequivalentprofessionalqualification.


• At least 6-8 years of experience in Financial Services, particularly fund accounting experience in the fund administration industry.


• Managingand/orlead3-4employeesfor2-3years


• ProficientintheuseofMicrosoftOffice(Excel,Word,Outlook).


• Proactive,detailoriented,andabletoidentifyandresolveissuesindependently.


• Abletocommunicateprofessionallybothwrittenandverbally.


• Organized,abletomulti-task,andworkunderpressuretomeetdeadlinesinateamenvironment.


• Experience in PFS-Paxus will be an advantage.
