Job summary

Troopers in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate, Food Safety - Training (Operations) to lead MOH/LPM compliance, manage licenses, and deliver onboarding for the gig workforce with a strong focus on hygiene, cross‑contamination prevention and safety protocols. The role requires 2–5 years in Food QA/F&B operations, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a related field, and trainer certifications (MOH/HRD Corp).

Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential; Mandarin or Tamil is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Must possess at least one of: MOH Accredited Food Handler Trainer or HRD Corp Certified Trainer (TTT).
• 2–5 years in Food QA, Food Safety Auditing, or F&B Operations; experience training frontline/gig workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• MOH Lead: SME for MOH requirements; manage SLPM license and FoSIM records; ensure KK M compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on hygiene standards (MeSTI, GMP, Halal) and ensure gig workforce safety levels.
• Perform internal readiness audits on high-volume workers to maintain standards.
• Design and deliver technical onboarding for the Troopers gig workforce focusing on food handling and safety.
• Track competency scores and pre-deployment completion to ensure proficiency of troopers at sites.
• Facilitate modules on hygiene, professionalism, and adaptability in fast-paced kitchen/service environments.
• Develop bilingual training library (BM/EN) with LPM manuals and safety SOPs; report on pass rates and certification lifecycles.

Responsibility

Key Responsibilities :

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance (LPM/SLPM)

• MOH Lead: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements; manage the SLPM license, FoSIM records, and ensure 100% KKM compliance.
• Technical Advisory: Provide technical guidance on hygiene standards (MeSTI, GMP, Halal) and PBT inspection readiness to ensure our gig workforce meets industry-grade safety levels.
• Audit Management: Perform internal "readiness audits" on high-volume workers to ensure they maintain the technical standards required by fast-food and F&B clients.

Operational Technical Onboarding

• Workforce Readiness: Design and deliver technical onboarding for the Troopers gig workforce, specifically focusing on food handling protocols, cross-contamination prevention, and F&B operational safety.
• Quality Metrics: Track technical competency scores and pre-deployment completion to ensure every "Trooper" sent to a food service site is technically proficient.

Behavioral Standards & Hygiene Excellence

• F&B Professionalism: Facilitate modules on hygiene-specific conduct, professional grooming (F&B standards), and adaptability within fast-paced kitchen/service environments.
• Feedback Loop: Translate technical feedback from clients (e.g., hygiene breaches or handling errors) into immediate training interventions.

Content Development & Technical Reporting

• Library Management: Develop and maintain a bilingual (BM/EN) technical training library (LPM manuals, hygiene checklists, and safety SOPs).
• Performance Analytics: Report on LPM pass rates, technical assessment scores, and certification lifecycles to leadership.
