Job summary

Creador is seeking a Senior Associate, Compliance & Governance to own and execute the firm’s compliance programme, focusing on AML/CFT, sanctions, ABAC, and LP obligations across Malaysia, Philippines, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam portfolio companies.

You will lead governance improvements, advise on regulatory developments, and work across pre- and post-investment lifecycle with a deep audit and accounting lens. This role reports to Head of BPIA & Compliance and involves Board-level engagement.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years' experience in compliance, AML/CFT, governance or related roles.
• Experience with LP/investor compliance requirements and DDQs is advantageous.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CIA, CPA, CA) are preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end compliance programme including AML/CFT, sanctions, ABAC, and LP compliance across the firm and portfolio.
• Strengthen portfolio company internal audit programs and governance processes across pre- and post-investment phases.
• Provide IT outsourcing oversight and ensure policies align with LP due diligence requirements.
• Prepare and present findings to Management and Board; drive value creation and continuous improvement across regions.
