Job summary

Astro Malaysia is seeking a Platform Manager to drive digital transformation and platform modernization across Commercial channels. You will lead end-to-end platform initiatives, acting as the bridge between Business, Product, Technology and Operations to ensure timely delivery and value realization.

The role requires 5–8 years in platform management or related fields, strong stakeholder management and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in platform management, business analysis, digital transformation, operations, product delivery, or tech roles.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end business and technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management to influence decisions across Business, Product, Technology, Digital and Operations teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design and documentation.
• Solid understanding of digital platforms, system integrations, customer journeys and operations processes.
• Experience managing UAT, deployment activities, and post-production support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present executive-level materials.

Responsibilities

• Maximize platform value through technology optimization.
• Lead and manage platform enhancements, SRs and CRs from requirements through deployment.
• Act as the key bridge between Business, Product, Technology and Operations teams.
• Drive solution design, risk management and delivery execution to meet business objectives.
• Own the Commercial tech roadmap execution across Operations & Product.
• Ensure delivery timelines align with GTM and business priorities.
• Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives to enhance customer and operational outcomes.
• Establish governance controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial and compliance risks.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, training and operational readiness for new capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user journey across platforms.
• Monitor adoption and implement continuous improvements based on feedback.
• Lead UAT, deployment planning, business sign-off and post-release support.
• Develop platform roadmaps and drive enhancements aligned with strategic business priorities.
• Ensure successful transition of new capabilities into BAU operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in platform management, business analysis, digital transformation, operations, product delivery, or technology-related roles.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end business and technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions across Business, Product, Technology, Digital and Operations teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design and documentation.
• Good understanding of digital platforms, system integrations, customer journeys and operational processes.
• Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities, and post-production support.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to prepare executive-level materials, including:
• Strategic roadmaps
• Business cases
• Project status reports
• Risk and dependency management reports
• Process transformation proposals
• Proficient in using PowerPoint, Google Slides and AI tools to present data, processes, and recommendations in a clear, structured, and compelling manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities and mentor junior team members.
• Experience within Telecommunications, Digital Services, OTT, Customer Platforms, CRM, Billing, Order Management, or Enterprise Platforms would be an added advantage.
