Job summary

Pembenaan Leow Tuck Chui & Sons seeks an experienced accounting professional to execute accurate, complete and timely financial reporting and support management accounting, budgeting, project cost analysis and internal controls.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, with 2–3 years of relevant audit or accounting experience; strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• Experience in financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing required or preferred.
• Exposure to construction/project accounting is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to execute accurate, complete and timely financial reporting and support management accounting, budgeting, project cost analysis and internal controls.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; professional accounting qualifications are an advantage.

Preferably minimum 2–3 years of audit firm experience, with prior responsibility for leading audit engagements.

Proven experience in financial reporting, management accounts, and month-end and year-end closing.

Relevant exposure to construction accounting, project accounting and project cost structures.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.

Key Skills

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and applicable financial reporting standards.

Ability to deliver reliable financial reports within established deadlines, supported by proper reconciliations and review.

Strong analytical capabilities in project costing, profitability and budget variance analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.

Effective communication and coordination with management, project teams and external auditors.

Ability to monitor and enforce compliance with financial SOPs, internal controls and company policies.
