Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Senior Logistics Executive to drive end-to-end export logistics from Plant, DC, and External Warehouse with emphasis on inter-company exports across ASEAN lanes. You will lead trade compliance, optimize freight procurement, and ensure SLAs with logistics providers are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing documentation, FTAs, and regulatory filings, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Logistics and related field.
• 3–5 years of export process experience.
• Well versed in logistics supply chain and customs requirements.
• Experience in web-based ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead inter-company export shipments focused on ASEAN lanes (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines).
• Strategically coordinate and book ocean and air freight with carriers and forwarders.
• Collaborate with Plant Supply Planners, Finishing Centre, CS & OF, and Warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow.
• Oversee export documentation, customs declarations, and ensure compliance with Malaysian and international regulations.
• Manage end-to-end application and certification of FTAs to optimize duties and tariffs.
• Lead monthly/quarterly freight bidding and benchmark rates to assign lanes.
• Gatekeep SLAs and KPIs for 3PLs and carriers; drive corrective actions.
• Monitor demurrage/detention and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Provide secondary oversight for inbound materials and customs clearance when required.
