Job summary

KUKA in Kuala Lumpur IT Enterprise Service invites an experienced API integration developer to design and deliver complex integrations. You will work on webMethods ESB, cloud-based tools, and ETL pipelines across multiple platforms and countries.

You will contribute to real-time and batch processing, implement automated CI/CD with Terraform and Azure DevOps, and ensure secure, scalable RESTful/SOAP APIs. Strong collaboration with global stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of API, interface and integration development experience.
• Experience with webMethods, Mulesoft, or similar integration platforms.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (Basic Auth, OAuth, Kerberos/NTLM) and REST/SOAP.
• CI/CD scripting with Git, Terraform, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations with IBM webMethods ESB, cloud-based tools, and Informatica PowerCenter ETL.
• Design robust integration solutions for event-driven, real-time or batch processing.
• Support deployment via automated CI/CD pipelines (ANT, Azure DevOps, Terraform).
• Provide RESTful/SOAP APIs and connect SAP, Salesforce, and other systems to the ESB.
• Maintain API Developer Portal and enable reusable APIs for SOA modernization.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Assist Integration Architect with improvements and new ideas.
• Keep platform updated with state-of-the-art API development practices.
• Coordinate and manage external partners and document processes.
