Job summary

Airwallex is looking for a Senior Specialist in Finance Shared Services located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves complete ownership of account payable operations across entities, ensuring all financial compliance and reporting standards are met.

The ideal candidate has over 3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Big Four firm, and is proficient in ERP systems like Oracle. Attractive compensation, including equity, is offered, along with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferred with Big Four background.
• Strong communicator able to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate invoices ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Perform month-end and year-end AP reconciliations ensuring accuracy.
