Job summary

Paymentwall is seeking an Account Receivable / Account Payable Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to manage global collections, perform credit reviews, reconciliations, and reporting. You will collaborate with international partners and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely payments and continuous process improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and experience with cross-border transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related field.
• 1–3 years in financial accounting, receivables management or audit.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
• Experience with international payments and forex is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect high volumes of payments from global partners with accuracy.
• Generate detailed collections and receivables reports weekly to annually.
• Conduct credit reviews for new payment partners.
• Maintain relationships with partner organisations and internal teams.
• Analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and improve collections workflows.
• Monitor exchange rates and impact on foreign transactions.
• Ensure timely collections and strict adherence to schedules.
• Document issues and alert the team to anomalies.
