Job summary

NTT DATA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Ansible Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade automation using Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, and related DevOps tooling. You will collaborate with Cloud, Security and App-Dev teams to deliver scalable automation frameworks across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with configuration management, CI/CD integration, and governance of secrets and credentials, plus strong scripting

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with multi-environment orchestration across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid platforms.
• Proficiency in OS hardening, patching, provisioning and application deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible Vault, secrets management and secure credential handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and inventories.
• Manage Ansible Tower/AWX for RBAC, workflows, job templates, and credential management.
• Automate provisioning across Linux/Windows, VMware, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Azure).
• Document automation frameworks, SOPs, and incident RCA reports.
