Job summary

Leanis Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Android developer to own the Android app end-to-end for a fintech product. You will manage the Kotlin + Jetpack Compose implementation, secure authentication, and on-device security, collaborating with the iOS pod on architectural decisions.

The role covers building, testing, and deploying signed Play Store releases, ensuring app integrity with root/tamper checks, and delivering pixel-perfect UI with offline-first patterns.

Qualifications

Role overview

You own the Android app end-to-end — the Kotlin + Jetpack Compose build, the Google Play release, secure on-device authentication, and native integrations — for a fintech app where trust and security are the product. You pair with the iOS developer as the mobile pod, sharing architecture decisions and design-system discipline.

What you will own

• The Android build and release: signed, obfuscated (R8/ProGuard) builds via the Play Console, versioning, rollouts.
• Secure authentication and storage: Android Keystore, BiometricPrompt, encrypted secure storage, certificate pinning.
• App integrity: root and tamper detection (Play Integrity API), attestation.
• The UI layer: pixel-perfect screens from design specs, dark theme, animations, offline-first patterns.
• Push and engagement: FCM notifications, deep links.
• Android test and CI: instrumented + unit tests, mobile CI pipeline.
