Job summary

Leanis Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Android developer to own the Android app end-to-end for a fintech product. You will manage the Kotlin + Jetpack Compose implementation, secure authentication, and on-device security, collaborating with the iOS pod on architectural decisions.

The role covers building, testing, and deploying signed Play Store releases, ensuring app integrity with root/tamper checks, and delivering pixel-perfect UI with offline-first patterns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Experience publishing Android apps to Google Play.
• Experience implementing biometric authentication and secure storage.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and app security.

Responsibilities

• Own the Android build and release process (signed, obfuscated builds, versioning).
• Implement biometric login, secure storage, and integrity checks.
• Turn design specs into pixel-perfect, responsive screens.
• Ship signed Play Store builds and manage release/obfuscation pipeline.
• Write and review tests; debug device-specific issues; keep app fast and stable.
