Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad in Malaysia seeks a experienced professional to drive product discovery, digital transformation, and PMO governance. You will facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and coordinate cross-functional delivery from discovery through implementation.

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and UAT management to ensure measurable business value and adoption across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting digital transformation, business analysis, product delivery, or project management.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement, workshops, and requirements gathering.
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementation projects.
• Familiarity with digital product lifecycle management and Agile delivery.
• Experience using JIRA, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, Copilot Studio, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to identify business challenges.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate requirements and user stories.
• Support end-to-end delivery of digital products and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate activities between business stakeholders, Digital teams, vendors, and partners.
• Maintain project plans, risks, budgets, and governance artefacts.
• Coordinate UAT planning, execution, and sign-off activities.
• Support change management, user training, and adoption readiness.

Your Mission

1. Product Discovery & Business Analysis

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to identify business challenges, operational inefficiencies, and digital opportunities.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories.
• Support business process mapping and gap analysis activities to improve operational effectiveness.
• Translate business requirements into structured documentation for solution design and implementation.
• Conduct market, operational, and business research to support product development and project initiatives.

This ensures digital solutions address actual business needs and support value-driven outcomes.

2. Product Delivery & Transformation Execution

• Support end-to-end delivery of digital products and transformation initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Coordinate activities between business stakeholders, Digital teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Support product roadmap execution and backlog management activities.
• Assist in prioritising business requirements and enhancement requests based on business value and feasibility.
• Participate in prototype reviews, solution demonstrations, and validation activities.
• This improves delivery effectiveness and accelerates realization of business value from digital investments.

3. PMO Governance & Project Coordination

• Maintain project plans, delivery schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance artefacts.
• Track project progress, milestones, budget utilisation, and key performance indicators.
• Prepare project reporting materials, governance dashboards, and management presentations for leadership review.
• Support steering committee, project board, and governance meetings through coordination and reporting activities.
• Ensure adherence to established project governance and delivery standards.
• This strengthens project governance, delivery visibility, and execution discipline across initiatives.

4. User Adoption, Testing & Change Readiness

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, issue management, and sign-off activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and feedback collection throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support change management, user training, communication, and adoption readiness activities.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and user adoption to support continuous improvement.
• This enables successful transition of solutions into operational use and supports sustainable business ownership.
• Support tracking of business benefits, operational improvements, and value realization metrics arising from digital initiatives.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and stakeholder experience.
• Support preparation of business cases, project papers, budget submissions, and investment justifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Product Delivery and PMO methodologies, templates, and practices.
• This ensures digital initiatives achieve measurable operational and business outcomes.

Ideal Candidates

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, Business Analysis, or PMO are advantageous.
• Professional accounting or finance qualifications such as ACCA are an added advantage.

Professional Experience

• Experience supporting digital transformation, business analysis, product delivery, or project management initiatives.
• Experience conducting stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and requirements gathering.
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementation projects.
• Familiarity with digital product lifecycle management and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, Copilot Studio, and collaboration platforms.
