About The Job
As a Senior Analyst in Payroll, you’re the person the team comes to when a case gets hard. You manage the most complex multi-country payroll cycles as an individual contributor — no direct reports, but real technical authority. You take on problems that don’t have a clean SOP answer, own the judgment calls inside your area, and persuade Finance and Tax partners to your recommended course even when the final decision sits with them.
- Manage end-to-end payroll for multiple international countries: own variable inputs to payroll vendors, lead first-pass analysis of payroll reports and statutory components, and hold the cycle to deadline
- Be the reference point for statutory, tax, and compliance questions that cut across job areas — the analyst others escape to, not from
- Lead the complex cases: mid-cycle corrections, retroactive adjustments, off-cycle runs, sensitive termination calculations
- Own and drive a payroll process-improvement or system-optimization initiative for your markets as part of a project team, from problem diagnosis to implemented fix
- Build strong working relationships with Accounting, Tax, and Finance — persuade partners of your position and deliver reliable payroll cost data and reconciliations
- Safeguard documentation, system security, and confidentiality of payroll records in line with internal control standards
