Job summary

Bybit is seeking a sharp AML professional to join our second line of defence. You will identify process gaps, challenge first-line teams, and drive measurable AML/CTF improvements across CDD, screening, monitoring, and SAR/STR workflows.

You will lead the AML Ops function, align with regulatory expectations, and support audits and regulatory examinations with rigorous documentation. Crypto/fintech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on AML/CTF experience in 1LoD and 2LoD contexts.
• Proven track record of identifying process failures and driving improvements.
• Strong knowledge of AMLD IV/V/VI, FATF, and EBA AML/CTF guidelines.
• Ability to decompose processes and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience in regulated payments, crypto assets, or fintech preferred.
• CAMS, ICA Diploma or equivalent AML qualifications an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local AML Ops team and manage KPIs.
• Assess end-to-end AML/CTF processes (CDD, screening, due diligence, travel rule, monitoring, SAR/STR).
• Translate findings into prioritized improvement proposals with clear risk and ownership.
• Challenge first-line teams and ensure regulatory standards without bottlenecks.
• Serve as internal SME on AML/CTF requirements and best practices.
• Track improvements and escalate when needed.
• Support regulatory exams, audits, and third-line reviews with documentation.
• Contribute to AFC risk assessment with control gap inputs.
