Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on AML/CTF experience across 1LoD and 2LoD environments.
• Proven track record of identifying process failures and delivering measurable improvements in AML/compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AMLD IV/V/VI, FATF, and EBA AML/CTF guidelines.
• Experience in regulated payments, crypto-asset, or fintech environments preferred.
• CAMS, ICA Diploma or equivalent AML qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local AML Ops team, ensuring KPIs are met and resources are allocated appropriately.
• Map and assess AML/CTF processes end-to-end, identifying inefficiencies and regulatory exposure.
• Translate findings into prioritized improvement proposals with clear ownership and outcomes.
• Challenge first-line operations with evidence-based positions and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Maintain SME input for regulatory examinations, audits, and third-line reviews.
• Support AFC risk assessment by surfacing process-level control gaps.
