Job summary

Astreya seeks an experienced AI/IT automation professional in Kuala Lumpur to drive the AI roadmap and deliver scalable automation solutions for IT operations.

You will own the solution lifecycle in an Agile setting, collaborate with data and engineering teams, and lead the evaluation and integration of open-source and proprietary LLMs. Expect hands-on work with Python, PowerShell, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud networking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT services with a focus on IT Service Automation and AI Engineering.
• Experience implementing GenAI/ML solutions and AI Agents in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell Script).
• Knowledge of networks, cloud networking, and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward AI roadmap for AI-driven automation aligned with company and client goals.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to design scalable AI solutions (e.g., NOC automation, bot recommendations).
• Act as Solution Owner in Agile/Scrum, manage backlog, write user stories, define acceptance criteria.
• Lead evaluation, fine-tuning, and integration of open-source LLMs (Llama series) and proprietary models (GPT-4).
• Develop and own automation framework components including PowerShell and Python runbook executors.
• Train ML models for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and IT capacity planning.
• Work with large IT operational datasets, perform data cleaning and feature engineering to improve model accuracy.
• Develop internal automation tools and contribute to framework improvements.
• Deliver continuous service improvements by identifying process enhancements.
• Develop AI/Gen AI point solutions to meet business needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to validate solutions and ensure product-market fit.
• Serve as SME on AIOps, ITPA, and Runbook Automation.
• Document processes, code, and models clearly.
• Contribute to team results and participate in skill development.
