Job summary

Lenovo in Kuala Lumpur seeks an AI engineer to deploy industry-focused AI applications using open-source and commercial LLMs, and to build enterprise intelligent Agents.

You will design solutions, research requirements, perform POC verification, prototype development, and online deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in AI, Python, SQL, and data warehousing, with experience in RAG systems, LangChain, and real-time data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in CS/AI/Big Data/Automation or related field.
• 3+ years of AI-related experience with mature experience in large model development and online project delivery.
• Proficient in Python and data processing tools (Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with RAG systems, intelligent chatbots, document Q&A, and enterprise Agents.
• Skilled in SQL and data warehousing technologies (Hive, Spark SQL, Flink SQL).
• Familiar with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka).
• Strong cross-team communication; English reading/writing; Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy AI applications based on open-source and commercial LLMs and implement prompt engineering, LoRA tuning, and few-shot/zero-shot inference.
• Build and deploy enterprise intelligent Agents using LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, and Dify.
• Collaborate with business teams to design AI solutions, define requirements, and perform POC verification and prototype development.
• Address production issues such as hallucinations, latency and context length in online deployments.
• Work with front-end and product teams to deliver technical solutions, docs, and maintenance manuals.
• Keep up with cutting-edge AI tech, evaluate costs and benefits of models/tools, and develop reusable AI components.
