Tencent in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a mid-level software engineer for the Interactive Entertainment Group. You will develop and maintain full-stack applications across backend services, APIs, and frontends to support the middle-platform team.

Required are hands-on full-stack skills, strong SQL, and practical Python data tooling. Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents is a plus for contributing to AI-driven features across production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience, with hands-on full-stack development experience and the ability to independently handle frontend and backend integration.
• Proficiency in at least one frontend framework and one backend framework, with practical experience developing and maintaining production applications.
• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to perform data queries, processing, and business reporting.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, with practical experience using Python data-processing libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with LLM application development concepts, including prompt engineering, function calling, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience developing AI Agents is a strong advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, proactive communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications for the middle-platform team, covering backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Implement algorithmic logic based on business requirements and collaborate with algorithm engineers to integrate their solutions into production systems.
• Participate in the development of LLM-powered Agent tools and AI applications, including prompt engineering, function calling, and tool integration.
• Perform SQL queries, data processing, and analysis to support business requirements and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Continuously improve application performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
