Job summary

RGA Reinsurance Company seeks an actuarial reporting professional to lead corporate reporting, valuation bases, and management analytics. You'll interact with pricing, finance, and risk teams to strengthen controls and processes in a multinational setting.

The role provides broad exposure to capital management, asset–liability management, and risk management through valuation work and assumptions analysis, based in Malaysia with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in actuarial science or mathematics is required.
• Fellow or near fellow status with international actuarial associations preferred.
• Experience with valuation or financial reporting under GAAP/statutory/IFRS17 is required.
• Proficiency in AXIS, Prophet, Excel and VBA is expected.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the reporting requirements for US GAAP (e.g. LDTI) and US STAT, local statutory, and management reporting.
• Support the quarterly LDTI valuation reporting process.
• Support the monthly reporting for hard and soft closing.
• Assist in valuation process improvement to achieve higher operational efficiency.
• Support assumption reviews and basis changes and communicate impact results and analytics.
• Compliance controls and audit checks on valuation data and bases.
• Work closely with Finance, Administration and Pricing Teams to achieve goals.
