Job summary

QL AGROVENTURES SDN BHD in Inanam, Sabah, is seeking an Accounting Manager to handle full accounting functions including A/P, A/R, GL and fixed assets.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, ensure compliance with group policy and regulatory standards, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers.

The role requires a degree in accounting (ACCA or professional certificates), 3–4 years’ experience, and strong Excel skills with independence and analytical ability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other relevant accounting qualification.
• 3-4 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts, management accounting, Group accounts, and related financial analysis exposure.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Update and prepare timely periodic and ad-hoc reports to management.
• Ensure all accounting and financial management practices adhere to group accounting policy and approved standards.
• Perform analysis of accounts and ensure the accuracy of entries.
• Liaise with auditors/tax agents/bankers.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filings, GST, corporate tax, and other legislative requirements.
• Assist in ad-hoc accounting and corporate finance projects.
• Prepare monthly management accounts within deadlines.
