Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a high-caliber finance professional to oversee treasury operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role covers full-set accounting across multiple entities, manages key banking relationships, and ensures statutory requirements are met.

You will oversee month-end close, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely tax filings and compliance with LHDN requirements. Mandarin proficiency is essential to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent).
• Mandarin proficiency is required (spoken & written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain independent and accurate full-set accounts for a portfolio of companies.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing cycles and ensure audit-ready management accounts.
• Serve as liaison for external auditors, review reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit tax estimations (CP204/CP204A) and annual tax filings (Form C).
• Monitor e-invoice submissions to comply with LHDN requirements.

About the Role

We are partnering with an established organization looking for a high-caliber finance professional to oversee treasury operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role offers an excellent platform to manage full-set accounting across a portfolio of entities while taking charge of key banking relationships and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Portfolio Management

• Maintain independent and accurate full-set accounts for a portfolio of companies in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing cycles, ensuring management accounts are audit-ready within stipulated timelines.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, reviewing draft reports, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring statutory statement integrity.

2. Statutory & Tax Compliance

• Prepare and submit tax estimations (CP204 / CP204A) and annual tax filings (Form C), including forward-looking tax computations for upcoming Years of Assessment (YA).

• Ensure timely execution of all property development-related filings and submissions.

• Monitor and manage the e-invoice portal to ensure all transactions comply with LHDN requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent).

• Mandarin proficiency is required (spoken & written) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, clients, and partners.
