Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Review monthly financial reports, financial statements, and cash flow management in full compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Audit Management: Lead and manage the annual audit process; liaise directly with external auditors to ensure smooth completion.
• Taxation & Compliance: Prepare tax and deferred tax computations, handle CP204 tax estimations, and liaise with tax agents on all tax-related matters.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic management decisions.
• Group Reporting: Assist with financial consolidation and quarterly announcements.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Support and execute other ad-hoc assignments as required by management.

They are seeking an experienced and meticulous Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, familiarity with tax computations, and fluency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Review monthly financial reports, financial statements, and cash flow management in full compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / MIA). Proven experience in financial reporting, tax computation, and external audit liaison.

• Key Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, sound knowledge of Malaysian taxation laws (including CP204), and reporting standards.
