Job summary

Aspiro, a top MSC Status company in Malaysia, is hiring a Senior Accounts Executive (China Support). You will handle month-end closing, accounts payable/receivable, GL entries, fixed assets, intercompany accounts and bank reconciliations, while leading a small team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 4 years of full-set accounting experience, strong time management and communication skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of full set of accounts experience.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Month end closing of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL entries, fixed asset management, intercompany accounts, and bank reconciliations.
• Verify invoices and other travel and expenses claims posted.
• Ensure payment receipts are issued on time.
• Perform analytical review and trend analysis for management reporting.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and year end account closing in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the team lead to identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the current processes.
• Manages and lead a small team of 2-3 Analysts, providing guidance and on-the-job coaching.

What You'll Do?

• The Senior Accounts Executive mainly responsible for the month end closing of accounts which inclusive accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, fixed asset management, intercompany accounts, and bank reconciliations.

Who We're Looking For:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, professional certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Proven time management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin language (reading, writing and spoken)
• Knowledge in SAP accounting system will be an added advantage.
