Job summary

Horizon Construction Overseas (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to support daily accounting duties and cash flow management for ongoing projects. You will update cash flow statements, perform daily entries, assist in audits, liaise with auditors and banks, and prepare monthly debtor aging.

This role also involves intercompany transactions, month-end closing, stock counts as required, and ad hoc tasks requested by management.

Responsibilities

• Update daily cash flow transaction and ensure funds for payments.
• Perform daily accounting entries in the system.
• Issue payment vouchers and update receipts according to payments and funds from customers.
• Petty cash records and reconciliations.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and payment arrangements.
• Month-end closing; ensure expenses and accruals are included.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, outsourcing accounting party.
• Update cash flow statement and bank reconciliation.
• Assist in year-end audit, tax queries and budget exercises.
• Prepare monthly debtor aging and statements.
• Conduct stock counts as required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as assigned by management.

Update daily cash flow transaction and make sure sufficient fund for payment due

Perform daily accounting entry to system

Issue payment voucher and update official receipt according to payment due and fund receive from customer

Petty cash record and reconciliation

Monitor intercompany transaction and payment arrangement

Month end account closing, make sure all expenses and accrual take in to account

Liaise with auditor, banker, tax agent, outsourcing accounting party

To update cash flow statement and bank reconciliation.

To assist in year-end audit, tax query and budget exercise.

To prepare monthly debtor aging and statement

To perform stock count as at required

Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the management from time to time.
